So I did some back to factory firmware updates as I thought it might be a good chance the wipe out some old mac filtering and start afresh... apparently my networking skills have disappeared as now I can't for the life of me get the Asus to pick up the Draytek...

Does anyone have this configuration that they can point me in the right direction?

I have the Draytek set up as per the Snappernet Chrous VDSL bridge guide, but the Asus won't connect to it no matter what I do.

Am I doing/missing something dumb? I can't post screens of the setup pages as i'm well past the point of caring for the night. Will see how I go in the morning.

I had various issues with setting up my Draytek Vigor 130 in bridge mode. I got it working with a SonicWall firewall behind it, but not exactly how I wanted it. Anyway, maybe the steps described in this thread give you a hint:

Also, when you did the firmware upgrade, are you sure you did a factory reset? When I did the firmware upgrade initially I chose the wrong option and it retained my previous settings. Had to do another factory reset to make sure my previous settings are definitely wiped.
