As per the subject, wondering if Digital Island is known around here and what their reputation is?

I have engaged with them on a previous RFP (ultimately unsuccessful on their part, but only down to some very particular infrastructure requirements on our side) and am currently working with them to draw up a proposal for a new small business setup (which they are looking pretty good on!) and I have always found them approachable, knowledgeable and professional. Their products look competitive and they have been recommended to me by other significant tech-players and individuals in Auckland that I trust.

All that said, I have yet to actually sign on the line with them, so I am afraid I cannot give you first hand experience!

Watch this space though - that may well change in the next month or so.

Yes they are good, they act as a broker for connectivity - you can ask them for a link between point A & B and what speed and they can go to market to find an appropriate connection - I know they have mobile and hosted PBX services.
