Hi folks will connecting the Vdsl splitter to the wall socket with Cat5e cable make a difference to the download and upload speeds.
I hear it does make quite a difference.
I hear swapping out the the old ADSL splitter will make a differnce as well

any ideas

cheers
Rick

Do you already have VDSL? If it's specifically only an ADSL splitter, it'll need to be it replaced by an xDSL Master Splitter anyway. The Chorus installation should include Cat5e and an xDSL splitter and as mentioned many providers usually require the full install to be carried out when you request the switch to VDSL.
