Looking for a POE 16 port gigabit switch. I think i would like it to be a managed one if the price is right, for homelab network. Anyone got some good products this think i should look at!

Just watch the power over ethernet tick box on pricespy. It also included ones that were powered by 802.3af when I last used it to buy switches.

I have a Dlink DGS-1210-10P

This is a 10 port gigabit switch with management, SPF (x2) and PoE. It is also fanless. I think the warranty is quite long (5 years?)

It comes in a 16 port version as well.

For the price Smc switches are good we even had a firmware issue on one regarding NAC smc made a custom firmware for us to address the issue I was frankly amazed to even get a response.

The Toughswitch PoE is pretty epic, smart and actually "tough" - http://www.ubnt.com/accessories/toughswitch

Used these heaps with camera and phone systems.
