Hey guys I want to rule out what might be a possible problem with my Telecom HG630b (wan side of it) however to do this I want to hook it up to my tp link router as the wireless network side of things. The tp link is a combined modem / wan that used to be used on my adsl plan before I moved over to vdsl
Do I set the telecom modem into bridge mode or the tp link modem.

Bit of guidance in the right direction would be most appreciated.

  • On your old router turn off the DHCP server
  • plug  LAN from the new one into LAN on the old one
  • enjoy your wifi
