Hi,

I was given a Huawei HG659, but I uploaded some firmware and it went fine, but when when I downgraded to the original one, I turned off the power while it was still updating, now when I power it on the power LED turns on and does nothing else. None of the WPA and wifi buttons work and the ethernet doesn't work. Is there any way to fix this? I was thinking serial recovery but I can't find the pins to solder to.

Thanks

Yeah you shouldn't have done that. Someone may be able to help you, but you're probably going to have to do some googling unless someone here has done it themselves and worked it out already.

Done it to a Micronet router once. Accidentally switched the wrong powerpoint off while being overconfident. Not a wise move. I ended up throwing it out even though there was probably a way to fix it. Took it as a sign to upgrade :) Maybe you should use it as an excuse to treat yourself to a new one.

Don't have any money currently, I don't NEED this router, but I would like it because it has 11AC. And also because I wanna try see if I can get it going.

I've almost got a serial connection... Except I forgot the ground. Gg. Then I will find out if the bootloader is working enough to upload the firmware.

Progress! I finally found my SD card and switched some wires on the router and I got this!

It seems I got into busybox, now I am trying to figure out how to upload firmware...
