I'm pretty sure our TP-link WR1043ND has died. Even tried a 30-30-30 reset. Can log in directly for a minute. Then I plug in modem and it becomes an unknown network and can't log in

So can I get a replacement one still? I have all my gargoyle settings saved and don't want to do too much extra mucking about again

Feeling very un-tech at the mo

Hoping to pick up a new one of what I already had as I know how to put Gargoyle on it and what settings I need

TP-Link WR1043ND

Any suggestions on a router that works well flashed with Gargoyle, so I can set filters, data caps, active hours etc?

Thanks.

I'm happy to use the same one again but can't find anywhere that still sells them.

Did you try googling the model number? One google search found the answer, here.

Do you require a v1.x or a v2.x?

I have one of each available.

Thanks Timmmay, will see if Tailor Made (local) actually do have one in stock

Hi Bugzptr - mine is a v1.8

Does anyone know if the v2.x is Gargoyle flashable?

I'd think the newer one is a better idea, if flashing works

Both versions are Gargoyle compatible.

The v2 has more memory and a better switch chip.

The picture on the Pricespy page is of the v2, the one pictured on the TailorMade site is a v1.

Having said all that I've ordered one from Ascent before and received a v2, when the picture was of the v1.

I'd love to get the v2.x

How much were you wanting for it? Inc freight to Warkworth (I'm just out of there)

Thanks
