Hello
I have a VF SHG1500 and a Brother Printer DC1 J4110DW

When setting it up to the network the printer comes up with a message "start WPS on your Router then press next"

Can some one please explain how to do this as I can not find any mention of WPS on my router ?

Thanks in advance

Many routers do not have WPS. It's my understanding too that WPS is no longer secure and should not be used.

Some older wifi routers/access points had a WPS button you could press, or could be manually enabled from the routers setup menus.

The setup software for some wifi printers is truely shocking , really bad.
You may need to do a manual setup, its a pain if youve never manualy setup a wifi printer ( ie connect printer to wifi manually & set static IP on the printer )

See if theres another option to connect to your wifi SSID or to search for wifi networks.
Are you running the setup from the install CD ?
