I am a Computer Engineering Student and I found this website very suitable for posting my current design problem, as partial fulfillment in earning my degree in Computer Engineering.

This is the Case:

My team is required to built a BLUETOOTH PAGING SYSTEM.

Now, the concept is like this.

A peripheral interface (laptop, desktop) records a message coming from a microphone (mic connected to peripheral). Then the peripheral broadcasts the recorded message to a SPEAKER that has a bluetooth receiver built in.

This is our problem:

We started researching and trying to construct a bluetooth device on our own, an AERIAL ANTENNA Transmitter (yup, the long rods but in this case, very short. The Higher the Frequency, the smaller the rod gets) running on 2.4GHZ (bluetooth runs on 2.4GHZ. Our plan was to assemble a transmitter running on 2.4GHZ)

Half way there, we figured problems in actually getting our hands on the necessary electronic parts to reach the 2.4 GHZ. Travelling miles to actually buy one special COIL and IC's didn't seem feasible to the budget so we looked for an alternative way to make the system work.

Now, we are looking for a bluetooth model that can be configured to suit our systems need to broadcast an Audio data to an bluetooth connected Speaker.



Need help:

If anyone out there who really knows much about the things involving our design, please enlighten us. 
My team and I really would appreciate any sharing of knowledge that would lead to the completion of this design project.
