Hi,

Does anybody know where I can buy some cat 5e or cat6 right angled down facing patch cables (1-2m in length) that ship to NZ? I had a look at Blackbox but they do not carry stock for another 2-3 weeks.

I had a look at this, unfortunately they do not ship outside the US. Does anybody know any NZ suppliers?

When I go to that link it tells me "This item ships to Auckland, New Zealand."

Shows as shipping to NZ for me for NZD$7 per cable. My Billing address is set to US (Youshop) if that makes a difference perhaps?

Just out of interest, what situation do you need right angled patch cords?

I didn't even know they existed but can't think why they would be needed.

Just got a TV hanging on the wall which needs an ethernet cable, a normal cable doesn't fit as it sits so close to the wall. Hopefully that helps.

i needed one a while back for where the outlet is behind some furniture. Tripp were not selling on amazon at the time though, and local dealers do not sell them.

Thats actually a good option, not many manufacturers make right-angled ones and I suspect it would be better to move the outlet since its too late to change the bracket.




Time to find a new industry!

hammer+Gib=hole for cable...= profit

seriously. though. you have already stuffed the finish on the wall with the bracket screws... may as well just cut some holes for the cables also. I have a tight fit wall mount and the GIB behind my TV is swiss cheese!! :)

screw holes are a lot easier to sort than a hole big enough for a rj45 tho.
