Hey guys,

Made a trip out to a friends house in the rural-ish area. He has Woosh wireless, and was plugging in via the ethernet cable. I took out a Wireless Router and setup PPPoE to login to the woosh account to give him wifi for his phone and laptop instead of being cabled in to the couch. He's since told me that the internet goes a lot slower on the laptop this way and has reverted to plugging the laptop in if he wants to use it.

There is no other wifi around so can't be interference, and I have never used Woosh personally but cannot understand why it would be any slower? Am I missing something?
