Hello, if you have two firewalls to be deployed at two remote locations, and you have configured a VPN tunnel between the two, how do you actually test the connection before you send them off the remote locations ?

thanks for any advice.

What kind of routers are they?

Test as best possible from your home broadband connection?  You will invariably need to modify some settings, but as long as these changes are documented so they can be undone, you should be sweet.

Bit of a PITA but good practise.

Male sure your office has two Internet connections. Makes things very easy long term.

Otherwise, maybe take the other router home and test from there?

Deploy one router first. Make sure you have WAN access to it. Setup second router at home / office and configure VPN until it works. Again, make sure you have WAN access on second router, customise settings for second site, send and check when it arrives.
