I am trying to use the DBT 120 with the widcomm 1.4.1.6 driver recommended by d-link.
The installation process runs fine but as soon as I try to configure the DBT120 by clickking on the Blutooth Configuration Icon I receive a message on the Hardware tab that "the device could not be found, and that I schould have a look in the device manager."
I could not find any errors in the device manager. The Connection Icon for Bluetooth devices stays red (disabled).

I already called d-link support, but they only told me that there might be a conflict somewhere and the best solution would be to reinstall Windows XP SP2. :-) (What kind of support is that?)

Thanks in advance for any useful help

You meant 1.41.6, not 1.4.1.6.

D-link has a new driver on their web site (www.support.dlink.com): v 1.42.10; you may want to download it and try it.

By the way, I have a similar problem, the new driver didn't help me; if you try it, tell us if it helps

Have a look on this discussion about D-Link software for Bluetooth. You'll have to check your hardware for the correct version.

Also, make sure it's not attached to a USB Hub or that there's no USB Hub attached to the same USB card on your computer.
