I assume that is speedtest.net results?

For diagnosis these are totally meaningless. What are your DSL sync stats from your modem? This is all that's important right now.

so the new modem is connected to the cabinet/exchange at a faster speed than what you had with the netgear.

there must be some reason for the slow speed test but its got nothing to do with how the modem is connected as that looks fine to me

connect a computer to the modem via a cable and then do a speed test

maybe being the vodafone rep, you could explain to him how to do that seeing as its one of your devices.

he does seem to have tried and has posted up something.

OK quick Google search ' How to get line stats SHG1500 ' first result goes back to the Vodafone NZ community, The stats are not displayed in the modem :(

Would still like a speedtest done to Vodafone over Ethernet,

Yes I work for Vodafone but that does not mean I know all devices inside out and I also don't officially work on the fixed line side,

:)

11 on the Netgear which works fine with my Netbook

VF Huawai auto-selected 11
Also tried 1, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13
Couldn't see 12, 13
Poor performance on 1, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11

The results in my first post are from a hard-wired PC through browser connection to speedtest website - that's what you mean yeah?

As per JohnR's response above, the SHG1500 modems do not have any detailed stats info. All I can see on my modem is an uplink and downlink speed.
