Started having a problem with my router today. Basically it has been disconnecting approx every 20-30 mins. Currently on fibre 30 with telecom. Phoned 123 no known issues in area. Lights on ONT appear normal. Have factory resetted router. Router is up to date as is all drivers and nothing seems to work. Before i go shopping, does anyone else have any suggestions that i could troubleshoot.

Yes and no. Bought the Asus ac87u. Had to return the first one back because two of the Lan ports were not working. Then had the intermittent drop out again yesterday morning. Called telecom and they are sending an engineer out to have a look. That being said the connection had been stable ever since. The ac87u looks like a good modem but their latest firmware requires a factory reset to work properly which seems a bit odd.

Shouldn't be that hard, eh. And a new modem shouldn't have two crook ports, either.

Good luck with the engineer visit.
