Hey all,
I'm new to the wireless form of computing but just recieved a bluetooth wireless keyboard (Microsoft optical desktop for bluetooth) as a present, however I am running win 2000 pro sp4 and the drivers for the devices are only for XP sp1. Can somebody help me set up the bluetooth hub using 3rd party software, or should I just sell the thing on ebay and buy an IR edition?

Reading through past forums I see I'm not the only one with this problem, but I can't seem to figure out what was said in the past with edited and sometimes deleted posts.

Thanks
Dj_SiLiKoN

You can probably find the complete recipe on gsmhosting.com... The problem is that it involves copying drivers from another company, changing some of the contents of these files and installing. It may fall in the copyright protection problem side, so I've asked for users not to post in the forums. And that's why some posts were edited...

thanks a lot.
Hopefully I get this thing working, I'd hate to waste a perfectly wonderful gift... just because I don't feel like upgrading my OS.
