Agreed. I use Mac OS 10.2 and was able to set it up with my phone quickly and easily for synchronisation and modem functions.
However, from what I understand, earlier versions of Mac OS are hopeless.

the kde bluetooth apps are damn nice. - but you can use them from other window managers.
