I have WinXP Home running Norton Personal Firewall 2004. I recently purchased a Palm Tungsten T3 and a Belkin BT USB Adapter. I have the BT running great but I can only use the web browser on the Tungsten when I disable Personal Firewall. I have added the Belkin BT "executable" files in the Belkin folder under C:\Program Files\Belkin. I don't know what else to do. I would like to be able to use the web browser on my Tungsten without having to disable the firewall software. Other info: I am using a Westell DSL Modem from Bellsouth.net.

Thanks in advance!!!!

Craig

There are lots of other programs that need access. The best thing to do is to create rules to allow incoming and outgoing communication to 192.168.0.x. You can use the Wizard to look for internal network addresses and create the rule.

I tried adding rules and addresses but it still does not work without disabling the firewall software. You know that Norton's support is not too great. Any other ideas?

I managed to have it working on my previous Windows 2000 machine with NIS by using the wizard to create an internal network rule.

Mauricio,
Thanks for the responses. I still have no idea what to do. When I try to use the "wizard," it says there are no connectors to find. I entered in a "range" of IP addresses and I also entered in an entry for 192.168.0.1 with the 255.255.255.0 added. It still doesn't work! Any further ideas? This is driving me crazy!!!!!

Oh! Some info that might be good.

Under my Network Connections, I have:
1. LAN ("shared" for internet connections)
2. BT Network
3. 1394 Connection

All are enabled. Should they be configured in any other way?
