i've got some nifty wifi gizmos that don't have a browser in them.. I want to use them on cafenet, xtra, airport and hotel wifi networks, but the silly browser authentication tips them up.

what to do? is there perhaps some other authentication method i've not heard of. perhaps part of the wifi spec ... help.

There are a couple of standards, but AFAIK Cafenet, Telecom Hotspot and Tomizone don't offer these options...

You can do it on Zenbu.

You have to register the device on your account, then it will automatically connect
So create a Zenbu account, then click on 'My Devices', add the Mac address of the device you want to automatically connect
Set it to automatically connect
Then when you connect to a Zenbu signal it will automatically be authenticated
Credit will be debited from your account at 10c per megabyte.
You can only be connected on one device per user at a time
