Uhm, I think you answered your own question! Laughing

Crossover cable between two network cards is easy enough, suggest you google this as there should be plenty of indepth guides on the net on how to do this which can explain in great detail how to accomplish this.

Run the network wizard on both machines, and make sure they are in the same workgroup.

Then, on the machine with the .mp3 files, right click on the containing folder and select Sharing & Secutiry (IIRC) give the folder a suitable share name and click OK.

On the client machine, open My Network Places and you should see the other PC. Double click it, enter your username and password and you will see the folder you previously shared. From there you can drag and drop as you would any other folder.
