Does anyone have one of these and how do you rate it? I am thinking of getting one but want to make sure they are a good modem before doing so.

First of all - What connection type do you want to use it on? ADSL, VDSL, UFB fibre, HFC (Vodafone cable) And what ISP are you signed up to? Or are you intending to change ISPs as well?

As a Fritzbox is definitely recommended if you are going to have Snap as your ISP. (The Fritzbox is their "ISP supplied" modem/router).

they lack 5ghz Wi-Fi, so not recommended in my books. 

In fact in using one in conjunction with an a.c. Router in order to maximise my connection speed.
