Hey guys,

I currently have the following, which I believe is pretty old now.
Cisco Linksys WRT 120N and this is paired with the Vodafone cable modem.
spec: http://www.cnet.com/products/linksys-wireless-n-home-router-wrt120n-wireless-router-802-11b-g-n-draft-2-0-desktop-series/specs/

Now I usually have the following connected in my house at the same time:

WiFi:
Smart phone - FB, browsing
Second Smart Phone - FB, browsing
Tablet - Netflix
Laptop - youtube / skype

Cable:
PS4 - online gaming
Occasionally a computer - updates and browsing

So this leads me to believe I need a better WiFi router?

If I need a better router, any recommendations? Or what I should look for?

I would go for a WiFi access point that has at least 2x2 MIMO, ideally 3x3. Netflix can suck a bit of bandwidth.

Try my latest project, a Cisco type 5 enable secret password cracker written in javascript!

Not too clear on network terminology but looking mimo is antennas? so 2 or 3 antennas? Or have I got it wrong?

It's the number of antennas and the number of spatial streams. Better units have more of both.

OK so I was browsing around and I found a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900, is this a good buy? The speed tests seem the same but everything seems smoother and faster.

Very well regarded router - Amazon had a deal for that + free 2TB external drive recently.
