Is it possible to plug a bluetooth dongle into a printer to enale bluetooth communication with a laptop?

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

There are a couple of Bluetooth adapters for printers, but I think you wil find it hard to come across these here in New Zealand. Also, the laptop software must support Bluetooth Print Profile.

It seems particularly difficult to find battery-powered BT adapters for printers.

However, coming at the problem from another direction: the HP A516 (which can take an internal battery) 6x4 colour printer has an HP BT450 adapter available. The HP A516 produces excellent colour images and is very cheap (eg NZ$69 DSE). In fact the BT adapter w. HP software (from aquilatech.co.nz) cost me more. The HP A516 can print text very well; of course printing an A4 page reduced to 6x4 makes for very small print but a magnifying glass or fresnel lense is your friend.
