Hi,

I have just recently bought the Palm Tungsten T3 and a IOGear Bluetooth USB Adapter. I am trying to gain internet access from my PC to my T3. I have already setup up a network using this guide: http://www.palmzone.net/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=2 and I still connot get on to the internet using the network that I have created with my PC and my T3. Bluetooth connects just fine and the network connects as well, but Web Pro gives me this error message:

DNS lookup timed out. Please check coverage, and try again. [Comm. 8]

I also installed AIM on my T3 and that won't connect either. It gives me the message:

Connection timed out.

I am currently running Windows 2000 Pro and AOL Dsl braudband for the interent. The modem that I use for aol is a USB DSL. I heard that I am not able to network a USB DSL but with my old Ipaq I was able to network it to my PC pretty well. It had Bluetooth and I used the same IOGear BT USB Adapter. I was able to get on to the internet just fine with that PPC using a serial connection and BT.

I really like the T3 and I don't want to exchange it, so can someone please help me with this?

Thank you

Did you try asking at Palmzone first?

Check that your Web Pro is not set to use a proxy server. Check the article in our Bluetooth guides on how to troubleshoot your LAN connection. Of course it'll depend on what is on the Palmzone guide, which I don't know.
