hey all,

managed to setup all my bluetooth stuff, and as i understand it, it is a part of my netowrk and has an IP adress. i can use the internet and ping all computers on my network. and i was wondering if it were possible to map the bluetooth exchange folder (or any folder on my computetr) as a drive or folder. i want to run mp3 files off my computers hard drive, but cant figure out how to do this....

please someone come to my rescue :(

What devices are you using? Also it will depend if you're LAP or PAN profiles for connection. Tell us more about this. What devices, software version, etc...

ok im using a asus a620bt with a billionton usb dongle and using software version 1.4.2 build 11. i have the network settings to share the internet, files and network. i dont know much more about this though.

I know you can do this with Resco File Explorer, and apparently another program called "NetUse" (which I don't have any experience with). You just map a network path and then double-click the MP3 file for it to open in Media Player. I haven't yet figured out how to create a playlist from off the network. I think I may need to use another media program for this. Any recommendations for a (small) audio player program that can access mapped network directories?

I've found that streaming a 128 kbps MP3 file is a bit much for Bluetooth (at least with my setup) and the playback is a bit jumpy. But it works fine if the MP3 is encoded at 92 kbps.

Speaking of all this, does anyone know of a way to enable the "Audio Gateway" profile on an h2215 iPaq? I've seen lots of talk regarding enabling the Headset profile, but what about Audio Gateway? Or is this not possible?
