Hello,

I'm trying to use a Belkin Bluetooth adapter with my Jabra Freespeak 250 as an audio gateway on my computer. (I'm trying to use the modem as a dialer and Jabra as a headset.) I can get the Freespeak paired and connected, but I can't get the audio to work. Does anyone have any ideas?

Also, I'm running XP.

Thanks so very much!
kevin

On My Bluetooth Places, double-click the icon corresponding to the Jabra. You'll hear a beep on the headset. Press the button as you would do when answering a call.

If you're connected and no sound is coming through, check the Control Panel, Sounds aplet. Your sound device should have switched to Bluetooth Audio automatically. You can change manually if needed.

hello,
Does belkin support audio gateway? I’m able to pair my HBH-60 but I’m unable to set it up as my audio gateway and get it to work as headset and mic,

As far as I’m aware of Belkin does not support audio gateway.
googled and tried, was unable to find anything useful to go forward with, any help would be sincerely appreciated

Kind regards,
Parthi

Yes, the Belkin supports the headset (Gateway) from version 1.3 and up. But if you have an old Belkin then this will not work.

This is the combination that does not support audio. The hardware lacks some features while the driver (1.2) doesn't have the required profile.

I came across this thread http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=8&TopicId=367
and from there to this http://www.palowireless.com/infotooth/tutorial/k6_hp.asp#Profile%20Overview

missed it previously, i can cope with techie advice, if you could guide me like which driver and which file to edit if i have to use a mix match of drivers from different manufactures it will be much appreciated

Kind regards,
Parthi
