The brackets are all over amazon etc but size means a re shipper would be crazy expensive.

So anyone seen something like this locally?

I got one similar to that from the local electrical wholesaler.  Mine was a bit deeper and had a hinge on one side but they had others.

No it was one of the others but my local Russells has a data section so I'm sure you'll be able to get something.

Got to JA Russell and get them to show you the Dynamix catalogue. They can order anything from it.

The recessing is prettymuch going to be needed so the door will close. The one mentioned with a hinge has me more interested since I would be able to stick shelves behind it and swing it out of the way to access the stuff on the shelves hopefully.

Otherwise I will get 2 blanks and bend them up and make holes in them both to hit the vesa holes myself.

Considering cable management sticks out a fair way, unless you've got a thick monitor you should be fine

My only one narrow enough to fit is a thick old dinosaur dell 4:3 1600x1200 one so im pretty sure it would hit the door. Should probably measure it sometime. For the sake of a second 3U blank it wouldnt be a major cost.
