Not sure what the deal is. I've got my SBC DSL connection setup as a network connection.
I am able to activesync. I setup the internet sharing per the instructions, tried sharing SBC and then my LAN (not sure which should be shared)
Anyway, at one point it asked my username and password. Was this for my ISP? I assumed yes and entered the info.
Anyway, the link connects to the PC, but then sits there Connecting to BT Network Access Using: Bluetooth Null Modem
Dialing:Connect . Doesn't go any further than that.
I do have Zone Alarm installed but it shows the Bluetooth adapter as in the trusted zone.
Not sure what to try next...
Peter

Update: Ok, got it to connect at least, but can't surf. Had to edit my Bluetooth Connection settings and uncheck the Wait for Dialtone on the General Tab of Advanced.
Not sure if ZA is causing this, but I downloaded vxUtil and tried to ping Yahoo. All I get is RTO, BUT! it does show the IP address of Yahoo which means it's getting the DNS info...

If you're able to ping and get a IP from the name, it should all be good to go. Try pinging www.wired.com, because they don't blocks pings. Also, run \Windows\welcome.exe on your Pocket PC to recreate some configuration files needed by Pocket Internet Explorer.

And make sure Zone Alarm is set to medium.
