Hey Guys,

Reverse proxy is something I would really like to do with m pfsense install but I have literally been struggling this for a long time and have thrown my hands in the air after getting no luck trying over and over, I feel stupid and need a hand here.

Is anyone able to lend a hand over teamviewer or similair who is very familiat with pfsense and reverse proxy through Squid - I would appreciate it.

Please let me know.

Sorry, I run pfSense (and love it), but don't run a reverse proxy, so cannae' help ye.

I have asked there before but theyare only willing to give hints rather than go through my setup and see where I am going wrong. For that kind of support I will need to buy a gold subscription which I cannot afford.

What exactly are you trying to achieve with a reverse proxy?

Are you trying to configure a reverse proxy for a website you're running internally?

I host a few services and games on my local network on different VM's/Servers on different ports.

Would like to map traffic coming in on port 80 from say server1.domain.name, server2.domain.name to thier respective local IP's and ports.

If this also works for hosted games that would be beneficial also.

I have DynamicDNS through CloudFlare, Domain Name and pfSesne.

At the moment I have to manually specify the server name/port on the local network which is a pain if I lose my browser history trying to remember all the different ports again :) - Also have to remember port numbers for external access which isnt a huge deal as for most stuff I use VPN for.

Two seconds on Google has hundreds of guides linked. Anything other than what is in this reddit post you need to configure?

Yeah I have followed them all but have no success with them either.. I am missing something. Or something specific with my set up not allowing this to work.
