Synology released their new DSM 6.0 software today. Tons of new features, just wondering if anybody has installed yet and how it went?

I have a DS414 which a I want to upgrade but cautious as it may break something.

Plex said their media server which I use daily on Apple TV will come up with a message saying it's not compatible but it will still work. Not overly reassuring so I thought I'd see if anyone here has upgraded yet.

I've been using DSM 6 beta 2 for awhile, plex works fine on it

Mine update automatically last night. All seems as normal.

The little things make the biggest difference.

My synology 412+ just emailed me saying it's installed 6.0-731 so hopefully it's ok as I'm not at home..

Did mine this morning manually. All went l OK. Haven't looked at many of the new features yet.

Mine auto upgraded over the weekend without any issues as well. Haven't tried all the new features but nothing broke due to the upgrade.

Only a recent Synology user, but I like the new external gofileme sharing links DSM6 can generate.

FYI, it kills Crashplan workarounds so the auto update has put a hiccup in my backups for the last few days.

DSM 6 killed notifications on completed downloads for me. Had to set this up again.

I'm liking the remember this device feature with regards to 2 step verification.

While not an official client, you could try the package from the Synocommunity repository.

I've been on it on my DS2415 since the first Beta's, and it's been no problem...

Have just kept on updating as they have been released, and not had a single issue!
