I have a question

A friend of mine is using my wireless. She was willing to give $10 and I told her she could use 10GB of data each month

But I still want to make sure if she is obedient and does use 10GB.Even if she uses a little more say up to 20GB then thats ok because its $10 its not alot we are friends after all

But anyway..I still wanna be careful and not end up with an expensive bill.I want to know if she is actually sticking to 10GB so I was wondering if there are any softwares out there that can detect how much data is coming out of my wireless? The software will be of course installed on my computer

My wireless is encrypted of course with a 64 bit wep key + Mac address filtering.

The modem is in my room and I am directly connected to my modem.

Anyone know of any software out there?

If you have only one person who would like to share your internet connection, then it might not be worthwhile compared with your current trusting method, but Zenbu is designed for just such internet sharing situations.

Depending on your location, you might find other people  nearby would also like to share your connection and pay you to do so, to avoid buying their own internet connection.

You can buy a Zenbu router for $249 and there are NO further charges.  You can print your own vouchers for no cost and sell them or give them to people who you want to share your connection.   You can make any users you choose "friends" with free access to your Wi-Fi.    Have a look at http://www.Zenbu.net.nz  to see whether it would help you in your situation.
