I have changed internet provider from Vfone to Spark and have realised that my previous Vfone router gave better wireless distance than my new Spark router. What do I need to change on the Vfone router to enable it to work on Spark? Ihave read the Spark help page on using 3rd party routers but that was not very helpful to me. Thanks for your help.

I don't think anybody on here can really give you any other advice beyond what's on the Spark page as their instructions detail exactly what is required.

What aspect of this are you finding difficult? And what device do you have? There are lots of Vodafone routers so you'll need to provide a lot more detail.

You need to give us the specific model of vf router you have. They will all be slightly different.

Generally though, there is a second, slightly secret, admin login to the router which will allow you to change the settings. The normal login keeps the settings locked down which is probably why your finding it hard to change.

vf router is HG 556a HW.C
When I log in to the vf router everything seams dedicated to vf and I cannot find the areas to change/edit the required items given on the Spark help page. Thankyou
