Hi,

Does anyone know of a wireless repeater or hotspot that can take custom DNS settings?

I want to create a second wireless network at home using Unlocator DNS settings so I can watch UK TV on my Roku.

Ideally a device that could connect to my main wireless network and then broadcast its own would work best, as it wouldn't have to my located next to my modem then.

Cheers

You need a router to do that.

TP Link ones seem to all have the wisp mode where they will connect to your existing wireless over wifi and then create their own network with its own DHCP server and routing between them.

That will really hammer your thruput tho, best to just get a normal ethernet wan router and stick it wired to your network.

And check that they have different IP ranges they are assigning because nothign I have found in a long time supports the same IP range on both sides of the NAT engine.
