I have a Belkin N300 Router.

I remember being able to access the router settings in the past, but cant find a way to do so now.

I have tried the following:

Pretty much every IP that has been suggested

The Belkin Software taskbar icon cant load the settings

Power cycled many times

Factory reset

Spoke to my ISP (flip) who said it was a Belkin issue

Spoke to Belkin who said its out of warranty and I should buy a new one.

More hours on google trying to find a solution than humanly acceptable.

I can still access the internet ok, but since I power cycled or factory reset the Router I can no longer log into the Playstation network (have tried everything on the ps side)

Does anyone have any ideas before I have to chuck it in the bin and spend money on a new router?

Thanks

You should be able to get the ip address of the router by going into command prompt and typing in ipconfig.

It should list the routers IP Address under Default Gateway.

Can you post a copy of what is outputted with the above command. And are you plugging the modem into the modem port or do you have another router and your just using it as a wifi access point?

I am at a mates house who is having the same issue. I believe it is a problem with Flip and or Sony. I believe that sony has banned the public IP range that flip is using.

If you hotspot from a cell phone or use some other internet connection other than your home wifi I bet you can still connect. I can here but both PS4's and a laptop cannot connect to sony via Flip but can when hotspoted through my cell phone.

From internet searches it has happened in the past and sony/your ISP have blamed each other or denied anything is wrong but after a period of time (upto a couple of weeks) it will just start working again.

You should still be able to get to the web interface by going to http://192.168.2.1. Are you sure you actually factory reset the router. If you did you should have to re setup ISP settings and configuring the wifi which would require logging into the router.

After not working for around 4 days it magically started working again on all devices not long after I posted! Has yours started working again?

Im pretty sure I did a factory reset. The only options I have are to enter the router name and password. I may try again at some point.

I tried earlier and ps network didn't work, but it seems to be working now finally!

Thanks!

Update. PlayStation Network isn't working again!😫
