Hi
Has anybody got any experience with enterprise level WiFi products from the likes of Trapeze, Aruba, Meru or Foundry Networks?
I'm especially interested in how well they handle VoIP WiFi phones (eg things like QoS and roaming/handover), how easy they are to configure and maintain, how reliable they are and how they help with the problem of channel assignments/AP placement and interference between APs.
The "virtual-cell" technology that Meru/Foundry Networks have sounds brilliant, but how well does it actually work in practice?
The situation I'm looking at using them in is a not so WiFi friendly environment (in terms of lots of walls in annoying places, multi level etc), with about ~13 access points (10 inside, 3 outside) providing coverage for ~30 handheld mobile computers/"scan guns", ~15-20 WiFi phones and half a dozen laptops.
