I would like to move away from the 5 bay Drobo I have and move into something newer.

I want at least a 5 bay unit and its going to be used for home networking and serving up movies to a kodi setup.

Also video footage will be stored to it from my home made security camera(s) setup.

Backups of various stuff will also be going onto it.

I was looking at this and wondered what people thought.

So I ended up buying this in the end.

Set it up last night and works perfectly. Have put 4 6tb reds in it so should see me through for some time.

Setup was so easy and there are so many apps and features on it will take me awhile to getting around to looking at them all.
