Have updated from 6.52 to 6.80 and it seems to be more responsive and is faster loading pages with no lag compared to 6.52 (On Fibre 100).  Still has a bit of German in it when you go to clear the Log.

So far, impressed with it over 6.52.

I look forward to trying it out.  The band steering feature sounds very interesting.  A message appeared on my Fritzfon about 3 weeks ago informing of an available update for the fritzbox.  That's the first time I've seen that.  At the time though it was not available in English.  I notice Orcon have hidden the on-line update button again so I'll have to dig out the instructions to use the recovery method.

Thanks for the headsup.

I'm new to 2degrees and to the Fritzbox. Quick question, is it safe to upgrade to firmware releases from AVM as they are released? or is it best to wait for an ISP certified firmware release to upgrade to?

"Child Prorection" and "3.4 or 5ghz"

Hope they write code better than they write press releases and changelogs.

Yes, it should be ok. I updated mine and connected to 2degrees fibre.

I've updated mine too (on Orcon).  Went without a hitch except for a DECT phone needing to be re-subscribed.  Don't forget to backup the configuration first or that may generate a few swear words!

Don't recall seeing another thread and wasn't sure whether to create a new one, but if anyone reads this and is running a 7360v2, v6.83 is also available to update to on this. Upgraded mine last week and all is running well.

Can someone confirm if they can edit/add new DynDNS settings after upgrade as I can't make any changes. My old settings stay there no matter what and if I reset the router to factory settings can't add new DynDNS settings.

@kimxk Do you have any idea what can be wrong, I have tried multiple DNS services, was working fine before and still works for dynu if I restore to old backup. Will try duckdns. Fritz Support have no idea it seems, they don't even believe me. Asking me to generate support data, even that doesn't work, support data file never finishes downloading.
