I am having difficulties sharing internet connection between my desktop and laptop over bluetooth network. The internet connection is shared from desktop at my home using similar settings as described here: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=1285

The IP is set correctly on the host machine and configured dynamically on the laptop. The DNS settings are copied from desktop to laptop. The desktop is using Broadcom BT drivers whereas laptop is using Windows BT drivers from Toshiba.

I am able to retrieve the pages hosted on the desktop but can't access the internet. I have tested with the firewalls disabled as well, but nothing seems to help.

Could MS BT drivers be the problem, if so, on which machine should I install the new drivers? Any ideas regarding a solution would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Arif

Try using Broadcom Bluetooth drivers on both, and then look into the program for an option to share computers. It is available in most drivers.
