Hello,

I got a car WiFi display from Aliexpress last year.

Was working fine until i updated iPhone to ios10.

Then i had to update the car WiFi display, to work again. Got it going again ok,

But then i changed the access point (Stupid Me) name in it, and now i can't login to it.

I can get the SSID of it, but not the ip address, which i need to login.

It has no reset button on the unit. (you have to login in to factory reset).

Is there anyway i can login without an ip address?

I do know the MAC address and id name.

Thank you

If I'm understanding correctly the display unit broadcasts an ssid? And you are able to join that wireless network? If so, you should be able to check the arp tables by connecting to the ssid with a laptop, opening cmd on windows and running the command "arp -a" which shows the mac addresses on your network and their corresponding ip addresses. There may be an app that does this on ios but I don't know of one.

Would app "Fing" do what you want? It lists everything on a network incl IP addresses.
