All going to plan, assuming the DHCP server authorises continued use of the same IP address, it should normally have no effect.

I have run a 600 second lease in the past here, and it was all just fine, had ssh sessions to raspberry pis on wifi open for weeks without any dropouts.

A friend's ISP-provided router (I don't know the model) would renew DHCP every 60 minutes by default and would disconnect his PC in the process. That's certainly not the norm, but just be aware that some devices may do it!
