I bought a BH 320 headset (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.6146)

Is there a way I can use it with my laptop (Lenovo T60p) too? I have broadcomm drivers. My laptop can't find this device. :(

Any help?

regards,
bhu1

Have you put the headset in discoverable mode before starting the search from your laptop?

Hi

There is no way to change my headset's mode! (Or is it?)

Btw, my Nokia N81 is able to work with it quite well.

Thanks

Look at the manual. You must put the headset in "discoverable mode" before a PC or phone can find it. Usually it involves turning it off then pressing the ON button longer, until the LED flashes red and blue. Of course this varies from device to device - read the manual.

Read the manual... headset is discoverable mode. My Nokia phone discovers it.
Laptop doesn't. :-(

Does this laptop have Bluetooth hardware installed?

Yes! I have a T60p, and it is able to pair with my nokia N81 too...
I installed broadcomm drivers after reading somewhere the MS BT drivers do not support bt headsets.

Now also, my laptop recognises the phone and phone recognises my BH320. But laptop doesn't find BH320 headset.

Correct... The Windows XP drivers don't support Headsets, only the Windows Vista drivers. I remember a couple of years ago some Belkin Bluetooth adapters wouldn't pair or recognise headsets because of some hardware/firmware problem. It could be this the problem?
