Quick question -- Can one of you point me to a layperson's guide to ethernetting? I've got a bit of a rat's nest in my house (mostly wired by myself) with one line from the Spark fixed wireless modem going out to another switch that divides into a TV and a bedroom laptop and a powerline adapter... (the other 3 lines from the modem go to 2 desktops and a TV ).  And it is going to get worse when I go to fibre later in the year (when my contract expires) because it seems unlikely they will be able to place the fibre modem in the same place as the wireless modem--nor would I want it there, as it is in a bedroom.  Just want to start working out what might be possible.

Many thanks

Decent starting point

The two PDF's down here may also be of interest.
