Hello ,

I`ve just purchased a Bluetrek G2 headset to replace a Jabra BT300 that I havent used in quite some time ( No need for use with PC - Too big personalyl to walk around stylishly )
Now half a year ago I`ve finally gotten myself a Logitech Dinovo wich had a Bluetooth hub supplied that could use other devices instead of just the keyboard and mouse .
I tested it with my phone and worked - With that in mind I discarded my MSI Bluetooth dongle

Now I tried to hook up the G2 , at first it wouldnt pair no matter what , untill I discovered you had to force the G2 into headset profile by holding the - for 15 seconds .
Altough it paired ~ there wasnt a confirmation .. but I got it paired nonetheless .

Now I wanted to use the headset as a mic in action , I boot up teamspeak .
Everybody could hear me crystal clear - here comes the kicker .
Whenever somebody says something the sound is playbacked really distorted !!
I checked all my settings in control panel
Bluetooth audio was used to play sound and be used as a mic , acceleration was set to maximum as well as sound conversation rate to good .
Any other application ( not just teamspeak ) wether thats winamp / M$ sound recorder etc has the same distorting issue . WHen listenign back a recording i made with the mic over my regular speakers its crystal clear .

My old jabra BT300 never had these kind of issues ! Then again I was using that on a MSI dongle and not the Logitech hub .
Sadly I dont have the BT300 around as I would have known by comparing performance if it was either the hub or the G2 .

Does anybody know how to solve distroted sound issues ? Or experience the same issues on a Logitech hub ?

My equipment

Logitech Dinovo + its Dongle
Bluetrek G2 headset
Windows XP SP2
Herclules Soundcard
Latest setpoint drivers Meaning widcomm 1.43 build 4

Sound distortion is frequently associated with CPU usage, but you say this problem wasn't present before... Have a look on this long thread about Bluetooth sound distortion...
