Just wondering if anyone is able to help.
I have fibre installed, with Vodafone NZ, and have a HG639 Router.
The HG659 is connected to the fibre termination point, through a RED WAN Cable.
This is provided by Vodafone, and the writing on the RED WAN Cable notes (CAT 5e UTP ....)
These are the same words written on a YELLOW LAN Cable, also provided.
Ive got another HG659, and I am wanting to purchase another cable to get internet to this second modem/router.
The RED cable used in modem 1 works on modem 2, as it should.
The yellow cord does not work. I have also tried various CAT5e cable's, and a CAT6 cable.
All options have not been able to provide internet over the WAN Port.
Vodafone have told me I can use a CAT5e cable from a store, but this does not work.
Does anyone have a link to a specific cable I can purchase, or who I am best to contact.
My only other solution has been to buy another HG659 from trademe, just for the RED WAN Cable.
Thanks
