I recently found an old card i think its a network card of some sort
can anyone help me identify this card and get some drivers for it?
It was in a Hewlett-Packard Vectra VE 6 / 333 SERIES 8 DT but I doubt it is stock

Pictures are here http://sv10.webs.com/card/

Not everyone is on MySpace - can you host this somewhere else where there isn't the need to login to see the pictures?

That is old - ISA slot contacts, 1988...

This is a network card, and it sure looks like this NE1000 card.

  • What motherboard do you plan to use this on?
  • What OS will you be using?
  • Do you realise that this is a supremely old card?
  • Do you know it cant use a modern standard ethernet cable?
  • Do you realise that new cards are stupidly cheap? (Modern PCI from $1 (1) reserve or $15 buynow with warranty (2))

If you you knew this stuff already, please disregard!!

So I get the prize for being the first one to say NE1000.

Wait a minute, what's the prize?

A quick Google search, and a Internet Archive whiz into the past turned up this:

http://web.archive.org/web/20070806041955rn_1/pluto.pslib.cz/kerslage/manuals/ne1000.html

EDIT: Seems like the server is online: http://pluto.pslib.cz/kerslage/manuals/ne1000.html

EDIT 2: There's another one with slightly more friendliness: http://www.wi-inf.uni-essen.de/~schwarze/nt/karten/net41.html
