Hi, I have an older D-Linkpowerline kit D-link older. Can I buy newer units (D-Link Powerline 500M DHP-P308AV) and use them with the older units? If anyone has done this I would love to hear.

It should work, but it will make the new one fall back to the older standard/slower speed IIRC.

Also check for firmware updates to increase compatibility.
