It's on IndieGogo, slated for December. It was on Kickstarter before. How can anyone have experience with a product that is not launched yet?

Also, anything I see on Kickstarter or IndieGogo I just don't believe until it hits the shelves. Seem lots of failed stuff before - sure there are some that actually got off the ground, but that's not the majority of cases.

If the IP Functionality in this comes to flourish, this could replace my current reliance on satellite modems.

until then, it is simply another ax.25 messaging platform.

Not completely, but certainly exaggerated. 'No subscription required'? Well, no, but without *some* sort of link to the outside world (which costs money) you only have local connectivity, and you can get that right now by unplugging your Wifi from the Internet.
