Try removing the Add-in from Microsoft Outlook first. Click Tools | Options, change to Other tab and click the Advanced Options button.

There click the Add-In Manager and uncheck any XTND Connect related entry. Then reboot and without starting Microsoft Outlook try removing XTND Connect.
