Has anyone else upgraded to pfSense 2.4.1 that came out today? I tried upgrading my home connection and the VLAN 10 tagging on the WAN interface doesn't seem to be working correctly anymore, they seem to have messed with the VLAN naming and it wouldn't bring up the pppoe connection to 2degrees - downgrading to 2.4.0 "fixed" the problem. I tried deleting the settings in 2.4.1 and creating them again but it made no difference. The logs weren't very helpful, just saying attempting to bring up the interface and then constantly retrying.

It looks like it's a known problem - https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/7981

Basically if you're using PPPoE with an RSP that requires VLAN 10 don't upgrade to pfSense 2.4.1

2.4.2 snapshot appears to fix this now

Great to know, this was on my todo list (still rocking 2.1.4 due to a change that was done in 2.2 that i wasn't ready for before!)

Frustrating that the testing didn't pickup this..

It's because of their new ARMv7 based devices apparently, they have long ethernet device names which was making the name + VLAN string too long.

I did a quick skim of the release notes for 2.4.1 before installing it but completely missed the bit about PPP & VLANs somehow.
