got the MX desktop a couple of days ago - very nice

I have managed to get bluetooth working with my P900 but only in a very painful way. I did have SP2 installed, but after a bit of research (and the fact it was also messing with my firewire drives) i uninstalled.

Im using COM4 for local, COM5 for client.
To connect and acheive successful syncing using the SE Sync station software i have to do the following:

1. right click phone connection tray icon
2. disconnect any active connections
3. connect COM4, wait a few seconds then connect COM5

i can then sync no problem.

However, while the phone connection icon shows a successful connection I cannot send items from my phone using bluetooth, usually the P900 cannot find the device, other times it finds but does not succeed in sending.

I then right click phone connection and disconnect COM4, this usually allows me to send from my phone.

then if i need to sync again i have to repeat the process

all very painful. Can anyone make this nicer for me please?

The desktop can only receive files if the PIM Sync service is enabled. also, it sometimes causes problems if the Encryption is set.
